I'd assume that there is a big sigh of relief that the derby participants and their connections don't have to deal with the prospect of this head case in the race. He may still show some of that freaky-fast talent in the future.

What I do find amusing is that about 2 months ago on ATR, Gary Contessa was bragging that he and his group turned down a million bucks for the horse. He said the horse was worth much more, especially because he would be one of the derby favorites. Hey Gary buddy, how about a little humility when you do an interview? Why not say, "we have a really nice horse who can hopefully take us to a place that we've never been."

I know it's racing, and as we've seen in the past 24 hours, anything can happen and usually does.

Any idiot or group of idiots that turns down a MILLION bucks for a son of forest camp which they paid 100k for at auction.....deserve to lose.

Then again, they have Contessa training their horse.
