I still can't believe they axed the Peter Pan.

What's supposed to be the lead-in to the Jim Dandy for non-TC participants?

I really like Fly Down in here. I expect Dross to take too much money and I thought Fly Down was rushed a bit to be in LA Derby. 7-2 a fair price and you might get better.

I wasn't sold in the quality of La. Derby field, Remand looks the best today.

I'm as guilty as anyone of getting blinded by the luster of lone speed but this looks like a situation where Remand is going to be overbet based on his likely early edge. There's absolutely nothing in his pedigree that indicates even 8 furlongs will be a cinch and that last furlong will be very tricky.

I'm going to bet Carnivore and Fly Down.

Not much value in this one, but if you don't like Drosselmeyer at all today, 3-1/7/2 for Remand is alright. I don't see Carnavore at all even with Ramon aboard.

1-2 on Drosselmeyer...means value on everyone else. I'll have to take back the lack of value statement earlier. Remand is 6-1.

Nice one. Will Zito be loaded for the Belmont?

The way the winner won, I wouldn't be surprised if Zito will have 2 bullets to use in the Belmont.
