CDI out of NTRA
http://www.thoroughbredtimes.com/nat...t-of-NTRA.aspx
Am I the only one that missed this post-derby? I was planning on getting my BC ticket arrangements done next week. Now...not so much. Has the June meeting taken place yet? No wonder racing is in trouble. |

But in truth, does it matter? What exactly does the NTRA do that helps the industry on a serious level? It's a joke of an organization.

The NTRA is even less relevant than the UN.

I have a HUGE problem with that for both political and personal reasons. That aside, the SUPPOSSED premier track/entity in the nation dropping out of the only "recognized" authority and clearinghouse for the sport shows how fragmented and destitute things are. IMO.

I'd say it does a hell of a lot more than CDI (and this isn't sour grapes, I did not look OR bet on CD today).
