Default 9/1: Saratoga (Day 35-$443k C/O)

Electricity 'brownout' here in Greenwich has made for a difficult morning, so limited comments other than to say P6 double carry of nearly $500,000 demands your attention! Thoughts below. Changes after 12p. ATR preview starting at 9a!

SARATOGA RACE COURSE

POST-SCRATCHES

1st: CLM, 3+, 6f (P3, DD, Super)

Some nice horseflesh scrambling for $12.5k..

Best Value: #2 Great Crusade 10-1 8th

Exotics Use: #3 Ramsgate 3-1 WON ($6.90)
Super Add: #5 King Andrew 7-2 2nd

Exotics Use: #6 Regal Ransom 2-1 WON ($3.60)

5th: (P6, P3, DD, Super)

$443k P6 Carryover Starts Here..

Difficult sextet sequence commences with tricky Maiden Claimer that asks blind without cane types to gain diploma going 1 mile on the inner turf. In a race like this, your first question is 'Who cannot win?', and after 30-1 Mountain Moonshine, there aren't obvious answers. Yes, a couple seem far more likely to succeed in this spot, but a more surprising winner shouldn't shock anyone..

Most Likely: #5 Peat Bay 2-1 WON ($4.80)
