I've always been a big Girolamo fan - but 10 months off and now this? Well, at least he's good off of a layoff...waste of a year.

That said, seems like it would have been slightly more logical to swap places with Regal Ransom in today's allowance race (I think Girolamo was eligible), as the latter really needs to find a niche, which is probably at a flat mile. Despite winning today, I can't really think he'll be anything more than a pace factor in races like the JCGC (assuming there's more than 5 horses in the race) and the BC Classic. He's nothing more than another Slew City Slew, L'Carriere or Wanderin Boy. Of course, he's still a lot more accomplished than Girolamo. |

Too bad Borel is going to Omniscient. It'd be hard to top the ****up that was his last ride on Warrior's Reward but he should've been given at least one more chance to **** up again.
And, after Maragh's ride last time he met up with Vineyard's Haven, nice to see he's on a contender. Last edited by the_fat_man : 09-01-2010 at 10:54 PM. |

Could not agree more, 7 Furlongs seems perfect for him. This is a pretty good field too, considering the state of the other divisions.

Anybody know what is going on with Wall Street Wonder? He was nominated for the Forego and had a good workout today, thought he would have returned here.

Maybe they got word of who was running and decided it was to much off an injury and at least a few problems that have benched him.

If QR doesn't win this race, might as well retire him.

He'll win by at least 18.

I agree. He should win easily, there are no Blames in here. I think GOAT horse will run well.

you are even more predictable than Booth and CSC.

1. CSC has rallied himself the last few days and as of right now, he's not currently a tard. Actually, if you throw out his brainwashed opinions of Zenyatta and his inability to realize that a dry turf course isn't wet, he's ok.
2. While she might be more predictable, at least she doesn't offend common sense like Smooth Wilkes Booth or the aforementioned CSC. |
