Looking at the PP for Philly Park and I see that Asmussen has had 13 starts there with 10 wins and 2 seconds. Amazing!

I suppose it is a combination of having good help and favorable races written in the condition books.

Speaking of today at Philly, I was there and it was not a memorable day for Gomez today at the PHA. Lost at 4/5 on Lovely Lil, and objected against the winner, where fortunately the stewards at Philly totally made the right call in leaving the Goldberg horse that won up, did nothing on the admittedly overmatched Bogue Chitto and, whether the horse had a chance or not or was able to get the distance or not is one thing, but gave Comedero a totally shitty ride by trying to rate him in 3rd off the pace, when he was the clear dominant speed and the fastest horse in the race on his best.

So the connections of Comedero skipped the King's Bishop in favor of a 91k stake at Monmouth and then a stake routing at Philly (I refuse to call it Parx)?
Is it me? |

I know. He's also a sprinter. Just seems like weird spots to me.

Being sarcastic. . . That has been their explanation for all the stupid spotting.

Really? That's actually pretty funny.
