In a sense you aren't far off.

Miracle Wood was the second son sired by Baederwood, a teaser who was given a chance at love as an experiment.

His first son Bea Quality and Miracle Wood earned almost half a million each in the mid 80's.

Miracle Wood ended up running in 5k claimers and old dependable topped off a $500 DD at 5-1 odds in one of his last races.
