It was a pace play..and actual the 1A was suppose to be the one to run very well. What I was shocked about was that the 3 could stay close enough early on...that was a suprise.

The 4 closed into nothing last time, while being wide Root. I know I used him. It looked like K.J. actually used the stick on him out of the gate, but the horse really didn't lift a hoof tonight.

I have never liked the 4 so I wasnt ever attracted to it..but maybe by KJ trying to get him involved early was just taking him out of his style and he quit.

there you go Point! I like that double. I think the 3 is a great play here. I see the 5 winging it..the 8 laying close and the 3 getting the jump on the 1.

She can win, but I agree, she is vulnerable here. I am taking my shot with the Hess who can wake up at a decent price here.

I have no interest in the Baffert in the 3rd, I think she is a sucker play. As Andy loves to say, if she wins, I lose.

The thing about the 1 that's worrisome for me is, why now is Mitchell rushing her right back? 3 wins in 3 months and now he's wheeling her back 6 days after her last race. It's almost like he wants her out of the barn quickly. I don't know, just getting a funny vibe and even money just makes it worse or better depending which way you are looking at it.
