Damn It!
Rare things do happen.I waited too long to turn the Dodger game on,and they already are up by 6.Not very often do they do that on the road.It is the Cubs though.

Not that surprised.Lowe probably got bored with a lead like that.Lost concentration, and then couldn't get it back.We all know it's a highly dysfunctional group that must be pushed to perform their best. They need to get back home.We know Lowe can beat people this time of year.He loses concentration against teams he doesn't care about beating.Adrenaline junky (if ever there was one.)We need a good outing from Penny though. This guy is somewhat overrated. He is a hothead that needs to start using more pitches than just that damn 98 mph fastball. You don't have to constantly go head to head testing your fastball against good fastball hitters.Too often he wins half of those battles, and is down 3-0 in the 2nd inning.

In my opinion these next 4 games (Padres visiting Chazev Ravine) will determine the division winner. Although the Padres have had their number, I like the Dodgers to win 3 of 4 in this series. That would make it very tough for the Padres to get anything but a wildcard, and even that would be a fight. I dont think the Padres get in.

I think all the teams want to avoid the Cards right now. Carpenter pitching like he is is almost a guarnteed win. Pujols is hitting the ball real well. Tempers are flaring, Rolen got thrown out last night. They want it. They smell blood.
