my son had homework a few years back-to write either for or against a controversial subject. i suggested legalizing marijuana. we learned a lot from his research. it absolutely should be legalized. the swing in from spending to raking in would be astronomical. tax dollars alone would be huge. you could cut back on jail cells, cops, investigating, sting operations, judges, etc. that would save money, and you could tax it like mad. picture the cuts in legal issues, and then the profits to be made. and then there's the fact that alcohol is more damaging than marijuana.

Yes! ...may be old fashioned but to me that's ridiculous and dangerous...worse than bungie jumping where you only kill yourself...

They have done tests and it has shown your reaction time when texting and driving is FAR WORSE then drinking and driving.

Excellent idea especially when you consider the drug pushers are republican by in large.

Legalize it, tax it, control it like alcohol.

No thanks. They'll just add chemicals to it.

Also synthetic pot is evil. Don't trust people who use it.

You realize she is a doctor, right? Chemicals are better than nature. Safer, more effective and have been around a lot longer.

My favorite are the "all natural" sweetener chemicals. Technically it is natural in that man has not created it out of thin air...

i think all phones should have something in them that disables them when the car engine starts...that you can only dial 911...i was behind a driver the other day that i thought was drunk. over the center line, onto the shoulder. found a good spot to pass-she was on the phone. i was about to call the sheriff to turn in a dui.
