Default NFL Combine

* There's a little guy from West Virginia named Tavon Austin that smoked. He had a game against Oklahoma a few months ago where he ran for 344 yards and 2 TD's. Added 82 yards receiving and 146 in kickoff returns. For 572 all-purpose yards in a single game.

Watch this mofo cut and change direction: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxzPryPMB74

I think he is going to be a star. Most of the fast times are being run by track guys who converted to football. This is a football player, who just happens to have Olympic caliber straight-line speed. His ability to cut and change direction is sickening and he catches the ball well and is tough. I think he is a big reason why Geno Smith put up cartoon statistics at QB.

* Matt Barkley looks like a toothpick in street clothes. I wouldn't want him either. He regressed sharply when he lost his left tackle, who I believe went #3 overall last year. He had talented WR's at USC and didn't get it done.

* Alabama corner Dee Milliner can't catch a football. He dropped virtually every ball thrown to him in position drills -- some of the catches were incredibly easy catches to make. He has a HORRIBLE set of hands.

He likes to compare himself to Patrick Peterson as a corner -- now I know why Dee Milliner never returned punts or kickoffs at Alabama ... he would have fumbled or muffed 30 of them in one season.

His stats say he had 2 INT's last year at Alabama. I would seriously like to know how he managed to pull that off after watching him drop ball after ball today. Maybe he will get drafted in the top 5 like some think ... but he can't catch.

Like they always say, if he had any hands he would be a wide reciever.

There is a cornerback who graduated from my highschool named Blidi Wreh-Wilson.

He was a 4-year starter at UConn and is projected to go in the 3rd round. He played soccer his sophomore and junior year of highschool, the football team won a AAA State championship here, and not a single player from that team has been drafted in the NFL yet. He was on the schools soccer team the season they won state, and he's going to be the one who gets drafted.

Only played a single year of high school football, his Sr. year.

His name is pronounced "Bleedy Ray" ... he's got a law-firm thing going with that name.

Amazingly, there is a more absurd name than that at the combine. LSU has a defensive end named Barkevious Mingo. That's right, Barkevious.

Name me Barkevious ... and that sh!t will be shortened to 'Bart' or 'Barkley' in no time.

Former Colts safety Bob Sanders real first name was Demond. He would go to the newspapers and local news stations and demand to be called Bob.

From his wikipedia page - "Mingo is the son of Hugh Mingo and Barbara Johnson. He has two older brothers, Hugh and Hughtavious. His unusual first name was created by his mother, adding the first three letters of her first name to the equally random letters Kevious. The name won the 2009 Name of the Year award"

Oh dear Lord!

Mike Mayock moved Bleedy Ray up to the #4 cornerback prospect in the draft. Maybe he'll be off the board before the 3rd round.

I wonder if he was any good at high school soccer.

Every time I see his name, I think of this skit:

Also, there's a dude on Alabama named Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.
