Isn't there an equal time law?

Or does that not apply to bad comedies.

not sure how that works (is it even still a rule), or if feature films are included.

the equal time rule is still around but only requires that if a station gives 1 minute of free airtime to a political candidate, they have to also provide that same free time to other opposing candidates.

unless she declares as a candidate and then decides to play herself in one of the productions, neither broadcaster has to worry.

the now defunct fairness docterine required that broadcasters present "controversial issues of public importance" and do so in a manner that was "honest, equitable, and balanced".

Does that exclude Fox News
