![]() seems to be shaping up as a really great race. Here's hoping I can get a good price on my girl Round Pond.

![]() Haven't looked much at that race yet but I think top to bottom that Servis is a better trainer than Matz.

He did...but I will always stand by my statement that I think he would have been better left on the grass. Granted, he won the KD, but his movement, to me, seemed better suited to the grass. Oh well...just glad the old guy is still alive. |

![]() I don't think he would've broken down from running consistently on the grass, that's for sure.
If I had a horse prepping for the Triple Crown, it would be Fair Grounds as the route or even NY. Don't like the surfaces in CA or FL. |

Talking with Mike at Saratoga this summer, I completely agree with the him in that the TC races are just too close together. F*ck tradition...we need to be more worried about the well being of these horses, and having them run as 4-5 yo's. Asking a 3YO horse to run those races is just too much, IMO. Spread them out to 4 weeks apart between each race. |

![]() You guys think this will be a front runner race or a closer like Balletto??
I think Fleet Indian goes down just not sure to who?? |

Yeah, I'm all over Balletto for this one.. I think Fleet Indian may miss the board. ( if she's challenged up front like I think she will be)

![]() Barbaro was better on turf.
that, or he just totally hated Gulfstream's dirt track. he was bouning up and down on that surface. total freak. as for RPond, she is already made. the switch in trainer this late in the game is not going to make a huge difference I would not think. Matz obviously knows horses and he is not going to screw up a filly this good. she wins on Saturday and really is probably the only non Pletcher horse that can win the BC Distaff. Repent |

![]() Kev,
I also like Round Pond. That said, and you might think i'm crazy for saying so, i think Teammate will find the line first. Box them for your ex. |

![]() Okay so call me a little biased...but I have been all over Round Pond for 2 years now and I think she comes up big tomorrow....I also agree that it was a downgrade in trainers but there was a lot involved in that and it's unfortunate...with that said, tomorrow will say alot, but I think she is still as good as any filly out there....

![]() I think either Take D Tour wires them, or Tammate wins from just off the pace. Not buying Fleet Indian in here. Balleto is everybody's wise guy play of the day but the horse clearly cant beat Take D Tour. Shes lost to her 3 straight times. Why should tomorrow be any different?
Fleet Indian 6/5 Round Pound 5/2 Take D Tour 4/1 Balleto 4/1 Teammate 7/1 |
