Default Chris squire gone

He only left the yes tour a few weeks ago due to his illness. The co founder passed from leukemia. Awesome bassist, only band member to play on every album they released.

The Hall of Fame has so far, had little respect for prog rock. It may change; they were strongly biased against female acts for a long time, but they have started to shift on that. So maybe prog rock will get its due in time.

Joan Jett certainly deserved to be admitted. She was the first woman in rock to own her own record label and she was a huge influence on the Riot Grrrl movement of the 1990s. If anything, her admittance is several years late. But whatever, so was Ringo's.

All I know though, is, Green Day getting in made me feel really old.
