Default 6/22: Belmont Park ($190k C/O)

BELMONT PARK

POST-SCRATCHES

1st: MSW, 2yo-F, 6f-T (P5, P3, DD)

Nice early group with Clement offering Noble Ready, full sister of Zindaya and Gyarmati bringing out Coasted out of MSW Malibu Pier. Fast Franny is the latest NY bred by Freud out of the wildly successful Frankly Fran (Sol the Freud, Franny Freud, etc.), but the family generally has been better with some seasoning. Ward has MacCorleot ($310k Uncle Mo) SCR'D going to turf and getting first Lasix in 2nd career start. Formulator shows it's the first time in at least 5 years that he's done these three karma moves together. I'll try the other Ward (Love the Power) that gets the 7# bug Torres..

Most Likely: #5 Bahama Halo 5-2 WON ($4.80)
Next Best: #3 Noble Ready 6-1 2nd
Best Value: #9 Coasted Late SCR
Exotics Use: #4 Love the Power 8-1 5th

2nd: CLM, 3+, 7f (P4, P3, DD)

Most Likely: #1 Beach Hut 9-5 3rd

3rd: OC/C, F&M-3+, 6.5f (P3, DD)

Most Likely: #5 Stormy Sky 6-5 2nd
Next Best: #3 Momameamaria 5-2 WON ($4.80)

4th: S/ALW, F&M-3+, 8.5f-T (P6, P3, DD)

$190k P6 C/O starts here..

Most Likely: #7 Wild Chatter 3-1 3rd
Best Value: #4 Indigita 6-1 5th
Next Best: #6 Amazing Anne 5-1 2nd
Exotics Use: #10 Candida 7-2 6th

5th: MCLM/$40k, F&M-3+, 6f-IT (G/S, P3, DD)

6th: MSW, 3+, 8.5f (P4, P3, DD)

Deep, dangerous cast with confusing blend of high expectation/lightly-raced types (2-4-5-9) v. solidly seasoned door-knockers (3-6-7-8). Light pace offers diploma opportunity for ponderous 0/13 Chomsky..

Most Likely: #6 Tale of Mist 7-2 3rd

I like the approach a lot Steve. I think way too many people are going to try to squeeze out a single with Jonrah. He can win of course but that's something he hasn't done since 2014. His speed figs don't tower over this field and Brown is great at everything but only OK with claimers.

Tried putting together a ticket myself and couldnt get it below $864 so I'll be sitting this one out. Good luck!

Nice work on the p4. That play was about a total of less than 2 feet away from paying 4-5k with the second place finishes in leg 1 (2 horse)and leg 2 (1 horse)

THX.. As discussed this morning, was a little maddening yesterday via a couple beats that hurt with the photo in the 4th and Forward Thinker getting caught. Still an OK afternoon. Hope everyone did well..
