![]() Race 1:
#4 Jing Jing Win: Two for two, looks a star. Race 2: #13 Easy Hedge: Burnt money this season but had a rough go in the straight last time and looks to be more value this time. #1 Ishvara: 6 2-4-0 record in this class, gets the 10 lbs apprentice. #8 Ho Ho Feel #11 Allcash Race 3: #2 Royal Elite: Trialled better with shades on, picks up Moore. #11 Beat The Clock: Beaten by a wide trip without cover last out but is drawn wide again. #5 Booming Delight: Bright 3yo form from the UK and has trialled well for his HK debut. #12 Harbour Nova: Unlucky in his last turf try and gets an extra 200m this time around. Has to overcome gate 14. Also using 1, 3, and 10 underneath. Race 4: #2 Silverwave: Much improved as a 4yo and never looked comfortable in the Arc, especially on the final turn. Switches back to Guyon and is overlooked in the betting. #1 Highland Reel: Globetrotter is consistent on fast ground but will be odds-on. #10 Benzini: 7yo in the form of his life and that was a strong win in the Brisbane Cup. #11 Eastern Express Race 5: #9 Red Falx: Japanese look dangerous here and there doesn't appear to be a local standout. Really flourished since switching back to the turf and has a bold late kick. #6 Big Arthur: Given no chance in the stretch last out but has to overcome a wide draw. #2 Lucky Bubbles: Most consistent of the locals and will be flying late. #8 Signs of Blessing: Don't usually like the Euro's in this spot but he has strong form and is proven around a bend. Race 6: #5 Dashing Fellow: Back to a class and distance that suits. Worth a shot. Race 7: #12 Satono Aladdin: Has had traffic trouble in all 3 G1 tries at a mile. Ran poor here last year but that was over 10f. Looks an overlay. #13 Sun Jewellery: Only poor run came last year over 10f when also vetted before the start. Improved with both runs this season and is primed for this third-up. #5 Beauty Only: Consistent but drawn wide #14 Joyful Trinity: Improving runner will be closing hard late. #1 is lacking fitness for this, #6 was unlucky last out but is a huge underlay for me... Race 8: #2 Maurice: Again the Japanese look dominant and could sweep this race. This one is a star and rightfully the one to beat. #5 Staphano: Always takes a few starts to get into his best form and runs third-up here. #6 Lovely Day: Had to work hard from the widest draw last out. Should get a better trip here. #12 Queen's Ring Race 9: #4 Clever Beaver: Taken a little freshening off that first up run but has trialled well. #9 Mr Stunning: Looks to be odds-on once again off a tough trip last out. #5 Let Us Win: Aus-G2 winner is prepared well for HK debut. #11 Hit The Bid Race 10: #4 Santa Fe Sun: Back down to a rating at which he's been most competitive recently. Ran well enough first-up and copped a terrible trip last time out. Bombs away. #5 Pakistan Star: Maybe the most talked about runner in HK but he's burnt money in his last two. #8 Apollo's Choice #11 Little Dragon Good luck! |
