was spectacular as a 2 year old..injured at 3, and was never the same..did he win the eclipse ?
i think this was in the era of pre pollytrack, when quarter cracks happened basically every other race at SA...which led to the ground up tire tracks, by law...which led to another law to get the stinky crap out. I think, AP is the only track left with the garbage..and i don't see Mr tightwad DD letting go of 12 million to put back the good old terra firma (dirt) GG has something different but thats not PTrack |

Turfway is obviously a real track, where real horses and jockeys are running in real races with real money being bet on them. Is it first tier, no, but it is certainly real. And if not having a turf course makes your track not "real," does that mean Oaklawn isn't real? Pretty interesting that a triple crown winner would run two races at a non-"real" track. BTW Hawthorne has a turf course so are they real or not? It's very confusing. |
