Yeah...the Padres traded Bochy to the Giants for a mascot to be named later! No...really I'm just trying to guage interest in an off-season baseball thread, to keep fans abreast of the latest doings.

The only thing I read is the Barry Bonds is going to file for
free agency after the World Series. I Wonder if one of the big three
will pick him up Mets, Yankees, Red Sox..
Being a Phillies fan I hope they get rid of Pat Burrel for young pitching talent. The Phils just resigned 43 yr old pitcher Jamie Moyer for 2 yr
extension

...and Sheffield whining about Yanks picking up his option....as if they were to let him go somewhere else without compensation. The total definition of a self-centered athlete!

What the Minnesota folks are scared about-

Liriano is reporting more elbow pain, and went in for a 2nd opinion today regarding possible TOMMY JOHN surgery. NO! NO!

That sucks for Liriano, This kid was going to have an outstanding career
hopefully if he gets the Tommy John surgery done he came come back
close to a 100 %. It also stinks that it's a long road to recovery from
this surgery.
