Belmont Thursday June 7th
Race 1:
#3 Fair Archer: Bred to handle the grass and was bet accordingly last time before stumbling and deciding to switch to the widener turf course. Slight concern about the sprint distance, but bullet work eases that. #2 Wild Road: All turf on the bottom with this one, including the dam who had all four wins on the green. Two quick works since the debut. #6 Chasindamoney: Dangerous if he's improved from 2 to 3yo. #5 Throw the Deuce: Had no excuse last time with a one-paced finish, albeit off the layoff. Looks an underlay. Race 2: #6 Street Vision: Has the speed to sit handy and knows how to find the winner's circle. #3 Final Frontier: Passed the eye test last. Could have quit like the rest of the field, but instead continued on to run down a leader who had opened up on the turn, even having to alter out late. #1 Bugle Notes: Ran well after breaking last but it wasn't a strong field and they cantered home. #4 Pagliacci: Mott doesn't have a great record with these types switching surfaces and distances, but he's run well on dirt before and has worked quickly since coming up to NY. Race 3: #5 Ascot Walk: Nothing of note on the bottom, but sire's progeny can win early and she had a bullet from the gate in Florida. #3 Mybigitalianfriend: Sib was a classy sprinter and was the breezing one of the pair last work. #2 Sweet Avery: Has the experience and took money to start her career. #8 is getting all the hype, but suspicious about why she left Baffert and was off a month and a half after shipping. Race 4: #7 Bolita Boyz: Looks to be back in form after a few poor starts since the last claim. Races prior give him a good chance here, and with that bullet work I expect him to be sitting close in a race without a lot of pace on paper. #6 Helooksthepart: Will be coming late, but may not get the set-up he needs. #8 Bad Student #4 Nigel's Destiny Race 5: #3 Red Knight: NY-bred steps up but is undefeated on turf. Dam won at 10f and was twice second at 12f. #4 Holiday Bonus: With three 6f works and five 5f works he's surely fit enough for this test. Any improvement from 3 to 4yo gives him an upset chance. #10 Chateau de Vizille: Bred for this distance top and bottom, and has previously shown pace, which could be crucial here. #s 2 and 8 definitely have chances, but they're both bred to be much better than they have shown, and neither had an excuse to lose last time. Race 6: #1 Wonder Stone: She clearly ignored her turf route pedigree to easily beat the boys on debut. If she breaks clean from the rail she's the one to catch. #3 Eyeinthesky: Only bought for 22k but the money flooded in to send her off at 4-5. Confidence at the windows repaid with a strong performance. #7 Tijori #4 Lady Apple Race 7: #10 Stormy Victoria: Had no chance last out when she got way too far back early in a dawdling pace. Gets a 6lbs swing this time, and loves the track and distance. #7 Delectation: Put in a great prep race over 5f against the boys on Derby day. This suits much better. #2 La Sardane: Impressive on Derby week and has reportedly been working up a storm since. G2 winner at a mile, so the drop to 7f shouldn't be an issue. #4 Thundering Sky Race 8: #3 Armoricaine: May be the shipping mate of a runner on Friday, but the trainer does not ship for just that reason and she has a good chance in her own right. Ignore her last on a heavy course in a field much tougher than this, and in her last two as a 2yo (against boys) she was in photo finishes with Patascoy, who just ran 2nd in the French Derby. Has speed, which is valuable here as the other speed (on paper) scratched. #8 Daddy Is a Legend: Irad took on Rushing Fall through a 23 flat third quarter. Looking for a more patient ride this time around. #9 La Signare: Just beaten on North American debut by Toinette, who came back to beat the above runner at Churchill. #5 Significant Form Race 9: #9 Honored Promise: Turf routing is what she wants on the bottom, not 6f in 1:07 and change. Toner has done well from limited starters this meet and is worth a shot at a price. #4 Competitionofideas #5 Fashion Week #11 Ballston $0.60 Early Pick Five Race 1: 2, 3 Race 2: 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 Race 3: 3, 5 Race 4: 6, 7, 8 Race 5: 3, 4, 10 $108.00 $0.60 Early Pick Four Race 2: 1, 3, 6 Race 3: 2, 3, 5 Race 4: 6, 7, 8 Race 5: 2, 3, 4, 8, 10 $81.00 $0.60 Late Pick Four Race 6: 1, 3, 7 Race 7: 2, 4, 7, 10 Race 8: 3, 5, 8, 9 Race 9: 4, 5, 9 $86.40 Good luck! Nice call on the #6 in the second. I didn't have him on my original ticket but took another look after seeing you use him on top.

Thanks. Was a good start but not so much of a finish. Hope you did well.
