Default Sending Out A Big Thank You To.......

Miesque's Approval. I had a nice win wager on this horse at Churchill yesterday, and it was the only ticket I cashed. Man did I get beat up at the windows. I still can't believe I did not hit the tri with Dreaming of Anna, Octave and Cotton Blossom. That was a gift from the heavens and I missed it.

I am home now, and dissapointed. Not just from a wagering standpoint mind you, but from the overall experience. Lava Man let me down, yes Mike (Oracle) I will take care of our agreement this week. Too Much Bling REALLY let me down in The Sprint. But what really affected me, for some reason more then any other time before, was Pine Island.

I consider myself to have a hard outer shell. Death usually does not affect me like others, especially since I have had some loved ones within the last 2 years pass on. Anyways, after Pine Island went down, I did not want to stay. I actually told my friends that I was going to the truck, see ya after The Classic. I started for the parking lot, which was a loooonnngggg ways away, but turned back around cause I wanted to see some of the Turf Horses up close. Still this morning, I feel really weird about Horse Racing. I am not trying to be a sap, not trying to get attention. I honest to god took that hard as a fan. Shoot, last year I was at Beulah when Josh went down and was killed as well as his mount. Yes it affected me, but this one yesterday was different. Maybe it was the stage, the atmosphere, who knows.

So, taking away Pine Island, I still was dissapointed in the day. We just rushed ourselves in the morning to get there and that is no way to go. What made things even worse was we did not have reserved seats and it seemed to me that no matter where you went it was body to body. Oh well, I got a shirt and a hat.
I DVR'd the coverage, but doubt I watch it.

Have a great day guys and gals......... and go Colts
