Default Panic Mode At Work Toaday

People running in the store - started with my first customer, at 6am

Where are the green onions? Ok, now where is the collard greens? Now, aluminium foil.

All day long, mostly men come running in picking up stuff their wives etc forgot or did not have enough of. Thank god we ordered plenty of produce, my department, as we never ran out of a thing. Comedy all day long.

i used to work in a gourmet food store/fish market when I was in high school...i remember it well when the rich old ladies would send their poor hen-pecked husbands out last minute with a list---- for exactly 36 shrimp...22 scallops (sea not bay)...exactly one dozen stuffed clams, but not the huge ones try to find the smallest .... crab dip..."oh she didn't tell me how much, I don't know, I don't know"
You're right it was always comedy....wore me out but still very amusing.

he's president of the brussel sprout fan club of america, so he wanted to remind everyone what awesome little gems they are!

i haven't tried them in a while-wonder if i'd like them now? they say taste buds change. saw a guy fix bs's on diners drive ins and dives, they looked pretty good. of course, he did cook them with bacon-and everything is better with bacon!
