Default ROI Results 1/18 @ Fair Grounds

With the Lecomte at Fair Grounds, it feels like the Triple Crown season is in full bloom (even
though there is snow on the ground here today and it's frigid). It was Disco Time on the Trail
and only Cal could cash a ticket on him. The Cal exacta featuring DT was good for 3rd place
in our contest and gave Cal a $4 profit which in the grand scheme of things is better than
losing. Digger also cashed in on the Lecomte and built his second place finish on Built. When
he took second Digger made a nice profit of $76.40 for his 49 $2 tickets. The Fair Grounds big
winner however was Real Quiet whose exacta in race 9 paid $23.70 for each of his 17 tickets.
Along with some scratches in his arrays RQ came home almost $347 up on the day. Thank
you Bless the Broken. Following are the unofficial results pending any reviews. There were a
number of scratches. My job was easier than Diggers I assume. See you all next week at
possibly a track not featuring 3 year olds? Only the Shadow knows where the point winner
ships us! Tough choice on the venue.

Nice play in Race 9 RQ. and yes I was proud to have Disco, but thought my pick of him was sunk before he made that last to first move. Brad Cox and Florent Geroux seem to have a certain genius about wet tracks at Fair Grounds. Have to file that away for future reference. Obviously, speed and the rail not the place to be, but that horse that did have the rail made a valiant attempt to upset.
