Sad thing is Giants can lose again this weekend against the Redskins and make it to the playoffs as a 7-9 team. They would be the worst team ever to make the playoffs.

Hooves as long as he does not have a supporting cast on defense things will never change - make it to January but never Febuary. Also, the teams that the Colts face are starting to figure out how this offense that Peyton runs operates. I honestly believe that when Sanders is healthy and a couple other of these cats get better, the defense will be ok, not great. Maybe ok to win a playoff game or two. It just gets old, all that money from the payroll spent on the offensive side, not nearly as much obviously on the defensive side - and the results will always be the same.
Addai is flying under the radar - this guy is good. Rhodes is as well. Our running game is just fine. Give Eli a chance. My god, look at the team he plays for and all the issues they have. He is still fresh in the NFL, but his pouting gets old. man up. |

I have said this any number of times but Archie is still the best QB from that family, Give Archie those offensive weapons that both Eli and Payton have and he would of already won a super bowl!!!

Rams
I think it was a couple of years ago the Rams were the first team to go to the playoffs with a losing record. I think the Viqueens went that year too. My Rams have been so average for so long I don't even remember anything after 2001.
I'm sure the ownership is looking at what incentives would have to be paid out before ordering the coach to lose.... Some teams just don't want to win. Defense wins championships. Run defense is more important that pass defense. (unless you're playing the Rams )

How about those Cleveland Brown teams of the late '80's winning their division with 8-8 records.
On back to the original subject. As a fan, I'm rooting hard for a Bears to win it all. But anything else, I'm really rooting hard for the Chargers to do it. If they do, Archie will be reading about how dumb he looks for not wanting his son to play on a perennial losing team. While this so-called losing team will have a Super Bowl victory and thank the Mannings for not coming to their town. Super Bowl victories. Chargers 1, Manning family (zero).
