SA Opening Day PK4
Leg 1 - Race 6
#3 Pirates Deputy - Has been wide in last two and should be in better position here. Never off the board in 6 starts. #7 Indian Ashton - Obliged as the favorite in 1st start and has been training well at SA for return. #8 Complexity - Wygod homebred was very game in debut despite having traffic trouble. #10 Super Image - The speedster will appreciate the cut back. One of two stakes winner in the field (#3 Pirates Deputy being the other). Leg 2 - Race 7 - G3 Sir Beaufort #1 In Summation - New life since Clement made the switch to the lawn. #2 Crested (GB) - This could be his breakthrough performance. I expect a huge effort. Leg 3 - Race 8 - G1 Malibu #2 Arson Squad - Loves SA and should sit a nice trip for Solis. #12 Latent Heat - Talented Frankel runner looks to run another big one off the bench. Leg 4 - Race 9 #3 In Reality (GB) - The cut back and speed favoring SA turf could to the trick at decent odds. #4 Silk Kerchief - Low profile connections send out consistent Cal bred. The Play - $1 PK 4 - 3 7 8 10 with 1 2 with 2 12 with 3 4 = $32 for a buck play Good Racing Luck

Humble Pie - I just could not pull the trigger with Kip Deville. What an awesome day of racing. I'm looking forward to an exciting winter with Santa Anita and Gulfstream right around the corner.
