Default Fleet Indian booked to Storm Cat

Fleet Indian is boarded at Taylor Made Farm. Saylor is saying that Fleet Indian is doing great after her surgery. She is under stall rest and then she will get 30 days of walking. Saylor does not know if or when Fleet Indian will be sold.

It is good to see that she is doing really well.

Yep... it's ridiculous. To each their own, though.

On paper it is a very appealing match except The soundness issue is legitimate. The two will still have Northern Dancer on top of the linebreeding chart which may exacerbate the soundness questions of the couple...I supoose it would have been best to choose another sire if one was a cautious sort.

An aside: The breeding is similar to the foal we are expecting in March except we went to Desert Warrior and are pleased to have Somethingroyal (4x7) on top of our linebreeding chart. We are crossing Northern Dancer with Cozzene (Caro) just like they are here with Fleet Indian/Storm Cat...of course Fleet Indian has the blue hen La Troienne in her family. We have Friar's Carse in the family. the 2 families do have a nexus with Penelope in 1788 ...
