Most overrated team year in and year out. They also have, or had, the largest budget for athletics of any school.

I was pulling for Michigan... and I'm eating crow as I promised I would. I really thought they would kill USC. The time off hurt them, I think...

Will it do the same thing to Ohio State? Here's to hoping! GO GATORS!

im sick how we lost to ucla, oh what could have been. this is a tease of a win because only one game matters and we arent in it. even with michighan looking like patsies, i still think ohio state dropkicks florida and this game is over at halftime.

USC was the play of the day yesterday - unfortueatly i gave them out with Tenn as the 2 plays of the day

USC just had too many angles against them in that UCLA game , and , I'll never forget the looks of those UCLA players after the game in 2005. Carroll never should have put 66 on the board against them, there was no need to do that 40 -45 was eneough. Those last 3 touchdowns to get them up to 66, boy , was UCLA going to be ready for them in '06 , and they were.

Probably the only thing Pete has done over the last 2 years that he regrets (with the exception of having Bush next to him on the 4th and 1 play against Texas), I hoped he learned he lesson and doesn't run it up like that again against his arch rival. Those kids from UCLA have pride and it took the 365 days to get their revenge but they got it

wow what excellent point you make. i had forgotten the final score last year, only knew it was quite the blowout. i was at that game and you are absolutely correct with your theory. ucla wanted to send us out of the title game and they succeeded admirably.

After that freakin' performance by Mich-s-hit-gan, your Gators may have a chance. I'll be rooting for them now,
when all is said and done...there will be only ONE undefeated team...the real "BLUE" team BOISE ST. !!!

I hear you, but come on...

Boise St has got to stop avoiding a tough schedule. Logically speaking, if they go undefeated next year with the same schedule as this year, they will probably STILL be booted out of the title game. They played one hell of a game last night! What a finish!

The Big Ten teams that come to the Rose Bowl are just blinded by all the pretty lights. There is a long history of the better teams losing to a Pac Ten team on New Years day, but Michigan wasn't one of them. Some don't realize how close USC came to playing for their 4th National title in a row. They won 2 in arow and just fell asleep on the last play against Texas, and they were young and dumb this year to lose to UCLA. I think that that they have matured and they would have givin Ohio all that they could handle. Next year they will start the year off as #1 with the same team returning. What do you think the UCLA score will be in 2007?

Yep, of course USC will be crowned the national champs for next year before they even start playing...

Funny thing is... they won't be. Take it to the bank.

I'm not a USC fan, but I can tell you from watching collage football that USC is a training ground for the NFL in the last two years. As for not finishing the season as #1 Time will tell.

Schedules get made years in advance and unfortunately Boise didnt know that they were going to be THIS good.

Regardless, how much tougher can the schedule get? They have to play their conference games which are never going to be that tough and most big time schools arent going to schedule them to a home and home because there is no money in it and too much of a risk for getting beat.

Unfortunately, there is very little chance a school like Boise St. could EVER play a top schedule even if they wanted to.
