Default Hey Steve

Did you play Beulah today big pick 6 carryover.
Here is what I played. Not a bad play for 60 on a quarter pick 6.
I am with you on the pick 3's and 4's. Thanks for the hard work!

...Gilbert

If the 3 isn't declared a non-starter in the 6th, they should close this track...

Didn't see the pan shot, but from the head on, it looked like he was clear of the gate and then reared up.

Hard to tell but it looked like he was stuck somehow to me. Maybe the Ass't starter's foot got in the way of the iron or something like that. I did note that Asst Starter was last to jump down off the gate.

Okay.

I went and watched the replay and the horse actually broke the gate open slightly before the starter pushed the button. The asst. was grabbing him because he was breaking through the gate. Horrible call. Easy non-starter.

I did not see the race but my previous experience with the stewards at Tampa has left me with little confidence that they would get the call right.

Good job Gil.. Gave the 8 last night on radio and tinkered with the play here. But left it on ATRAB.com because it's what I said on air...

And not scratching the 8 there is a second egregious steward error in 90 min...

just watched the replay...that is a crying shame...not a reason in the world that horse should have remained a starter.

and the 9th race....what is the protocal for a situation like that? The horse broke through the gate TWICE

sorry about the pm on the 8. Couldnot agree more that the 8 should have been scratched after breaking thru the gate TWICE ! Guess they didn't want to scratch the big favorite and refund the cash. Looks like an email is in order to those geniuses
