didnt bet but if i had money to just throw around woudl have bet 2,10,11,13 and 20 think "diem" is a little low but just really like the horse since his maiden. The others are long shots that i think have a shot.

I liked that race. Its a crap shoot on these so I don't invest much. Just nice to take a chance on getting a Derby starter at good odds

I bet $50 to win on Prospect Park at 35-1.

I figured you would have bet Far From Over given your affinity for Blame as a stallion.

That did seem like the best value offered to me.

I really liked All Others at 5-2 and I bet it heavily.
All Others hasn't been that high since 2008. The last 3 years it's been either 8-5 or 3-2. And I didn't even think it was a bad bet at those prices. --Dunbar

Anyway, I think Far From Over is a legitimate Derby horse. He would definitely be in my top 10 or 15 at this point. With regard to the sire, even if Blame is a bad sire like I think he will be, it doesn't mean he won't have a few good horses. Flower Alley isn't much of a sire and he had a Derby winner (I'll Have Another). |
