I don't understand the hype on Imperia. I thought he had a nice setup in the Kentucky Jockey Club and couldn't get the job done against a horse that probably is not one of the elite three year olds.

Only thing that scares me about Imperia is the surface. Some turfy horses can run well on the CD dirt and no other dirt tracks. Other than that, I think he lays over this field. He waxed International Star in the KJC.

I think Keen Ice has a decent shot here and might be a good price. I also like Irish You Well on the Mineshaft..

I think as it stands he is my Derby horse. The difference in this race was that International Star got through on the rail and he was 3-5 wide around the turn, and don't forget about that early interference. Similar trip story in the LeComte. Also think his kick will be better and more sustained going longer as his brother was a 12f winner (albeit on turf). I like Keen Ice as well but he just gets going too late and as of now seems more like a place or show horse.

Yockey's Warrior (2nd race) was very impressive when winning his debut earlier on the card. Time was just half a second slower than Bet On Seattle's time in the Kenner two races later.

the one hoss who got pressed every step by some 99-1 shot, will be a wire to wire winner next time. He ran dynamite at 33-1. Makes me love Prospect Park all the more. I can't wait....
