And then Sadler thinking himself the genius (even though he has no Triple Crown success whatsoever) decides he should change jockeys on his well-backed horse and the shoe ends up on the other foot (and out of the stirrup)...

Well, if they can't keep their feet in the stirrups they can always open mouth and insert...

What's the knock on Protonico or Medina Spirit's pedigree in general? Went over it with Sid Fernando Wednesday.

I don’t recall knocking Protonico. But it’s quite a feat to win the Derby with a horse whose sire has less than 5 total winners.

My comment has more to do with Baffert than the horse. Hopefully I didn’t hurt Protonico’s feelings.
