Default August 26 Saratoga Points Picks go here . . .

Well I didn't say which day the sun will set. Anyway this should be a tough card as usual on Travers Day. We're playing races 3-13 with a 12:45 post time for race 3. Please have all Points Picks and ROI Wagers in by then. Ga'luk to all!

New York Thunder . . . when this happens my heart aches and I had no real connection to him. I can only imagine how the owner, trainer and all that take care of him feel. It's like losing a child. This sport can fill you with exhilaration and unfortunate sadness too. It puts a damper on the whole day.

PS - And then there's Jena Antonucci and Archangelo.

We've seen too many incidents like that lately. It's like being kicked in the gut over and over. All of the enjoyment of a superb day gets thrown away in one horrible moment. I ask myself why and can't come up with a satisfactory answer.

Yep - to paraphrase Jim McKay - the thrill ... and the agony .....

Very happy for Jena. She has done a great job of training to get her horse ready to run such a strong race.

Cruz, I don't have the stomach to give you the details. However, if you read the linked article, it will answer your questions.
