Churchill Downs proved to be a tough nut to crack but 3 players figured it out and showed a profit
and get the points attached to their placing. From first to third was tight with Zippy getting the
show spot by cashing three tickets. One of Zippy's exacta's provided the highest mutuel of the
day and got him to plus $31 for his effort. Digger gets second place with a bet on Risk It in the
9th. While Risk It couldn't win it the place payout moved Digger to plus $44 and a solid second
place. The Churchill win goes to Cal who had a sweet exacta 4 times in race 10 to finish with a
profit on the day of $54.32. Congrats on the win Cal. Nicely played. That's also the season
leading win number 7 for Cal. Following are the unofficial results pending any miscues by the

Not exactly pennies from heaven, but better than losing dollars. I am the king of the cheap wins. I haven't had a nice win since Oaklawn, but have had my chances and that's all you can ask for. Maybe I'll recognize one of those opportunities before the end of the contest year, but I doubt it with only a hand full of contests left.
