ROI Results 8/31 @ Del Mar
Saratoga. We hardly new ya. Del Mar this past Saturday provided some nice racing but
not too much in the way of profits. Only one player could crack the California code and was the only player to collect the ROI points and make a profit. That player was Joly B who nailed a trifecta in race 4 worth $22.40 for each deuce. An $83 profit was more than enough to cement the win. Congrats on the win JB. Nicely played. Following are the unofficial results pending a review from the booth. See you all next week as we leave Saratoga and look toward the Breeders Cup. WIN... Joly B... +$83.20... R 4: $16 tri: 3 / 4,6,7 / 4,6,7... $179.20 Ruffian -$84.00 Real Quiet -$99.00 Indian Hemp -$99.40 NJ Stinks -$100.00 Digger -$100.00 Cal828 -$100.00

Nice play Joly!! Good to see that not all of us got a serious beatdown. I guess, to try for a little optimism, there are still a few races to go with which to redeem ourselves before BC. Of course, I'm only guessing, but I doubt that anyone is all that far ahead or that far in the hole either.

Well Cal, one player has a pretty good lead but it's still one Ruff bomb or one Indian Hemp pick 5 away from being settled. Joly B gave it a run last week with 4 winners in the Pick 5. Still a lot of time left (probably around 10 weeks) so anything can happen. NJ Stinks has a $540 lead over me and he's the only player showing a profit. I have a $2 lead over you and rounding out the top 5 are Digger ($850 behind) and Ruffian ($944 behind). There have been 9 $2000 hits so you can't truly count anyone out
