![]() I'm very new to this and was wondering if anyone out there does this as their primary job? Is that even possible? If so any advice for how to get there?
Thanks again, Terry |

![]() One could also buy a seat, take some cash, and trade pork bellies and corn for income ... probably a more stable profession than earning a living via handicapping

![]() Does anyone every get to the point where you can't even stand to look at the racing form? I know a couple of years ago I was playing alot and I also went in to a contest. By the time that the contest was over, I was so burnt out that I didn't want to see a racing form for weeks. I was doing ok, so it was not the fustration of losing. I guess I needed a freshening. Has anyone else ever have this feeling?

![]() No way.
Even if I could... Handicap every day. I must have mental holidays. I think handicapping is fun and I like to keep it that way. The race replays have also become a major source for me that really helps. The internet is changing the game in so many ways. I have become much more accurate watching replays and getting a feel for a horse's style. visual learner I am. but I love lots of little numbers also, they just dont tell the whole truth. |
