Default Derby top 10

Hope I have some credibility on this board.....

1. War Pass....until proven otherwise
2. Pyro............ditto
3. Big Brown...could be no.1 after fla derby
4. Elysium Fields..Ran a bigger race than ccm in FOY
5. Court Vision... Mott will have him sharper in Wood or BG
6. Cool Coal Man...Distance may be limted
7. Dennis of Cork.........has done nothing wrong yet
8. Colonel John....Strange path to churchill, will be on dirt for the first time in KD.
9. El Gato Malo.....needs to relax a bit better early in the race. big talent
10. Hey Byrn....regressed slightly in his last start yet still dominated...

Thoughts?????

Sounds logical to me MP. There might be a few who bust your balls, but at least you throw it out there.

What has Court Vision done (besides run slow) to warrant such a high spot? The other nine look about right although I'd shift the order around slightly.

I dont have a list but on March 7th a requirement to be on mine would be more than zero dollars in graded stakes earnings.

you know what I like about you Btw. For a two foot clown, you talk like a big shot and most of the stuff that comes from your mouth ends up spit back in your face. You are a horseplayers dream come true, whatever you say seems to come out exactly opposite. My new strategy is to simply go the absolute opposite way on any suggestions you may have. take a nap and wake up in July, the board will be better off

Although while watching Majestic Warrior re-runs today, I am falling into the PYRO camp a little.

I know you're obsessed with One Suit, which is why you seem tied to his favorite lame insult for me, but here's a piece of information for you, if I'm two feet tall then he's two feet three inches.

Hossy gave you the best list I've seen yet just a few days ago. In case you guys forgot, here it is:

1. Monba
2. Giant Moon
3. The Roundhouse
4. Alaazo
5. Blackberry Road
6. Understatement
7. Adriano
8. Majestic Warrior
9. Court Vision
10. Any horse that begins with "Z"

Frankly, I don't see how anybody could argue with any of those selections.

Maybe Steve should set up a room just for these "Top 10 Derby Horse" threads that seem to be popping up every 3 days or so. Nothing personal against you mp3.....but we seem to have a lot of these recently.

In a normal year perhaps - but, once you get beyond the two best horses this year...what is there left?

Court Vision would own a standout #1 ranking on my 'Most Likely to plod into a 4th place finish in the Kentucky Derby' list.

I don't think he's even fast enough to do that. He'll plod up to crack the top ten but I'd be surprised if he can do any better than 6th.
