With a eighth to go, I really felt I was going to back into the PK4 ($888)with the favorite (#2) winning the 7th after #7 scratched (late). Only to see AC Avila's 30-1 shot cruise on by in the final strides.

Great week ahead as the Derby is less than 6 days away, Arlington (Thurs) opener, and Belmont (Fri) opener.

I'm looking forward to seeing Make Music for Me in the American Turf on Friday at CD.

Similar story except I had the #4 in the last as Avila has been on fire lately. Played the Pk4 very early (9 am) as I had family duties and knew I wouldn't be home to get the play in on time. So I put in a $80 ticket singling the #2 in the feature, and not sure when he was scratched?

3,5,8,10 / 1,2,3,7/ 2 /1,2,4,6,11

Get home in time to see the feature and thought I was live to the #11 when the race started. The #7 goes off the favorite by $1500 on last odds update (about 45 seconds after latch sprung), and #11 Gallant Son won easily. So would have been alive to $2 in the last (late scratch of 7 in leg B). Figure the late money on Acclamation cost me about $7K !!!
