I'm going to be out there, so I'll be playing this card, but man, I'm not sure "meh" even really begins to describe Saturday at Del Mar. At least there's a beerfest and Weezer.

4 You Lift Me Up Valenzuela P A 121 L

Just a mention again that You Lift Me Up was the winner of "The Last Dance," the last race ever run at Bay Meadows.

Not much discussion on this grade 1, Distinctive's ML line is way too high IMO, Evening Jewel should fill either the w or p slots. Class of the race? Maybe...But perhaps lightening can strike again for a Euro invader today. Box up Distinctive, Berg Bahn and EJ and play the former big to win.

If Mike Smith is nothing else, he's a helluva jockey.

Geez, he had Harmonious on the grandstand apron in the stretch drive. My 13 year old dog would have ridden that horse better.

I had no money on it, but man that stuck out as a sucked ride.

Very happy Evening Jewel and the connections got the win.

It wasn't great, if you reversed that with the ride Chantal rode today, she most likely would have won.

That SOB cost me the pick 6. Why does Mike Smith insist on going 7 wide every chance he gets???
