I was glad to finally see Zenyatta in person. While I will be the first to tell everyone, that I bet very heavy on Fly Down...no comment!

I felt Zenyatta was put at a major disadvantage from Mike Smith. My seat was first row over the tunnel from the paddock, from the time Zen did the walkover, there was so much going on and she pranced and dance for the crowd as usual.

25 minutes of having the spot light on her, Mike Smith never warmed this poor horse up. With it being 44 degrees at that point with the sunset and it was getting colder by each moment. Why didn't a Hall of Fame jockey understand....warm the horse up! Instead he just let her walk around the backside.

Now like I said, I wanted to see her run the best race she could. But to watch Mike Smith fan her wide in the stretch did not help either. I think Zen is pretty nice horse but; as much as I would've have like Fly down to win or run second. It was clear who was the only horse that closed in deep stretch this whole weekend.

Maybe she did run a winning race....maybe her jockey forgot his job...guess we will never know!
