Perfect Casting
From the 8th race at Arlington yesterday, I have never been a fan of this horse, BUT, he was never clear in the stretch until Nakatani finally found room with about 20 yards left. The chartwriter kind of left out that part of his trip, so if Arlington cappers are too lazy to watch the replay, maybe he gets a bit of a price next out.

I just watched a replay several times of the June 25th 8th race at AP. Yes, he did encounter traffic in the stretch. But he also saved most of the ground on the 2nd turn, and really did a good job of not losing too much ground on the 1st turn despite breaking from the 12 hole. The fractions say the pace was slow but looking at the chart, the race dynamic favored closers as the field was well strung out and both the winner and Perfect Casting had no trouble making up considerable ground. I think Berlioz ran a solid race. 4 wide on the 1st turn battled all the way to get beaten a neck while closers filled out the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th slots. A lot of wide trips in the June 25 race. Since many of these are coming back to face each other on Saturday, with Perfect Casting at 13-10 last out so he probably will be in the 6-5 range or so tomorrow.

Not saying he didn't have a fairly good trip up until it came time to run in the stretch. It's just that, in my opinion, he was completely blocked until very late, and that is not in the chart. However, 2-1 ML makes anything above that very unlikely.

Yeah I don't think you will see above 8-5 in the race on PC. I may box him and Berlioz in exactas if Berlioz is at least 10-1 or so.

I think you'll see sub even money on him, I was already hearing talk this afternoon about how he can't lose tomorrow

Perfect Casting would've been a great claim for 5000.

The price was wrong, but the result was right.
