Listen to ATR on iPad?
Can anyone help me on how to listen to ATR on my iPad? (I'm talking about listening to it "live" (9-12 EST) - I have no problems w/ the podcasts.)
I've been trying to access it through the TRRN website. But when I go to www.thoroughbredracingradionetwork.com and click "Listen Live", I get a pop-up box asking, "Open in..." I don't get this when I listen on my PC - it just opens up automatically and I'm able to listen. I'm guessing that I need a particular media player or an app on my iPad, but I'm not sure. Can anyone help? THANKS! |

IPad access
I access ATR often on my iPAd and have caught a bit here and there the past week while in England. You need to purchase the SiriusXM internet package, a few dollars more a month. Can call them and they'll set you up over the phone. You get a username and password. You will also be able to listen that way on any computer using the SiriusXM player available via the website. Then go to the Apple App store and download the free SiriusXM app. I am on XM and most recently Steve is on channel 961. Seems to be two minutes behind the radio broadcast. If this isnt clear or what you really asked please let me know.

Another cheaper way is to get the Splashtop app which allows you toaccess your computer from anywhere on your IPad

Splashtop is something I'll look into. But I was just hoping I could somehow get the live broadcast on my iPad directly. I guess I don't understand why I can get it on my PC but not on my iPad.
