Why is that Joey? If corporations are shipping jobs overseas and it started in earnest during the Bush years what can be done? Lower taxes?? They will still ship jobs overseas they just will have a bigger profit for those at the top. Is the solution government interventation to prohibit the practice? Sounds like the More Government that you despise. What Joey is the solution , because Romeny certainly hasn't articulated one yet. And he was one that made hundreds of millions on that process.

Like Carter, Obama is the source of much of the malaise in the country with his policies. Punishing achievement in business through taxation, decreasing the energy available by prohibiting drilling on public land and attacking the coal industry, in favor of scam artists masquerading as clean energy companies. That's just some of the low-hanging fruit.

Joey.. Taxes have not been raised by Obama and are at or near an alltime low. The drilling issue in public lands also is not a new issue in the last 4 years either. And Obama gets way too much "credit" for Solydra as that ball was rolling LONG before he got into office.

In its simplest form, Obama believes Government creates jobs, runs the economy etc. while Romney believes the private sector creates jobs and runs the economy.

The question: Is Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Obama better at creating jobs than say Sam Walton, Bill Gates and Romney?

Of course this means nothing when covered birth control is at stake.

Obama has given 18 small business tax cuts.

Solyndra was a Bush era company - the Obama administration guys made Solyndra provide more data before they got the loan, because Bush didn't require what they should have - and Solyndra lied on the application.

Solyndra lied about their status on the application

Truth matters, Joey. The Solyndra crap has been proven false for 3 years.

No. He does not. You are very unfairly misrepresenting his position.

Obama does say that yes, government stimulus does create jobs, and it did, during the great depression and during the great recession.

But Obama knows that economic strength comes from a middle class with jobs and a dollar to spend on houses, etc. That's what he says. That's what he has done, and what he supports.

Obama is fighting the massive transfer of American money to the wealthy that has occurred over the past 50 years and eliminated the middle class - he is fighting to restore that.

Romney represents the definition and acme example of how to transfer money to the wealthy.

Quote:
while Romney believes the private sector creates jobs and runs the economy.
Romney's experience as a "businessman' is solely as an investor purchasing companies, mortgaging and leveraging every asset he can into cash, taking that cash out of the business as his own profit, then leaving the business to survive or die with that debt once he was gone.

Romney was very successful doing that, and it made him wealthy.

But that doesn't take ethics or morals to do what Romney did - in fact, it takes a coldness of heart.

And what Romney did is most certainly neither creating any business, nor growing any business, nor providing any strength in the economy, nor creating jobs - thus the skill set of a vulture capitalist to running a government is ????

But considering that the Republican method of governing is to privatize to profitize every taxpayer dollar they can get their hands on:

- public lands used cheaply for private grazing, drilling, mining
- defense needs privatized for contractors through and through

Using Romney and Ryan to privatize to profitize the last remaining taxpayer dollars that exist in this country:

- by increasing the defense budget to serve private business contractors (make money) although the wars are over;
- by privatizing to profitize Social Security and Medicare
- by overturning Obamacare so insurance companies can once again kick off people and make record profits;
- by privatizing to profitize our public education system funds ...

... seems like the vulture capitalist Romney, a man of a coldness and willingness to "take what he wants" for profit - is exactly the perfect man for the Republican party to own in the Presidency.

Romney and Ryan are the perfect privatize the government to profitize guys.

And you help them, and vote for them, and believe in them, because Reagan and others convinced you "government is the problem, not the solution".

No. That's not the question. And I suggest you look very closely at the WalMart and Apple "job creation" record, and how well their employees live on those "jobs".

Actually, it's Prop 13 that did that to California. And the voters did it to themselves.
