I was at Del Mar, standing on the apron, when this kook ran on the track. There was some consternation amongst security over the contents of the duffel bag he dropped on the track. Since it was pre 9-11-01, there were more laughs than real concern though. Had it been post 9-11, they would've cancelled the last race, evacuated the track and called the bomb squad.
I went to the track photographer a couple days later and purchased a couple 8 x 10 photos. image.jpg
