Gee, and to think here I was kinda bummed for losing like I did. Losing like that must be hard to swallow. Sorry Alabama.

I suppose some of us learned something in this years contest and will all have a better plan for next years.

ya losing on a typo is rough. kind of like winning because of a typo, must be a shallow victory. We all know who really won the contest. If the guy running the contest can't even post in the correct thread, he should be a little more lenient. I don't recall in the rules where it said if you make a typo on a result, not a bet, which was made correctly where you had a $110 winner, you lose, and too bad.

I need my head examined for even posting this, but how is this fair at all? The guy posted a winning horse in the correct thread (the Meet Rules and Wagering.)

But he posted the wrong date and race in a thread where he needs to self check his winners? Who cares? The correct horse is posted in the correct room.

Look, I get it...he's really annoying. But I didn't think being annoying means the rules should be different for him.

Seems pretty unfair if you ask me, but like you said, it's your contest.

oh boy,

I never got in the middle of a controversy before, this is fun:

In the rules I listed it says:

PLEASE NOTE: You will post your winnings on the Saratoga Meet RESULTS THREAD

This is because it was taking me up to an hour each racing day to filter through all the pics and then post on an excel file, with an amazing amount posted wrong by the way.

So, I just go through and post the winners using the result thread.

Now since this is a friendly contest, we can say he won, there is everyone happy, no? Well will just say he didn't win.

Have a nice day.

Spyder out

Again, it's your contest, so make decisions based on what you think is best. But acting like a child doesn't really make you look right. Just the opposite actually.

It certainly seems like the dude is getting unfair treatment because he's unbelievably annoying though.

I'm a cool guy in person, It just loses something in the translation. I suck on the internet. Worse at texting. It's annoying to me to be this uncool out here. When i read some of my posts, I find it hard to believe I typed it. Oh well. Part of going soft I guess.
And mr. hoss, you are still one of the best I've seen, and all insight is appreciated. Steve is also a very sharp handicapper. Just missed a nice pick 4 after throwing in his Aba dabbler hoss, who i would never have used.

Congratulations to Knicks, Alabama and Laura for being the top three in whatever order is correct.

By saying I'm so impressed with this post does not mean I'm surprised...

Sometimes doing or saying what is right is really difficult especially when you're saying it to people you consider friends.

I agree with this and I applaud you, Hossy. I think it says a lot about your character and sense of decency.

It's your contest Spydee and of course do whatever you want.

Thank you for running it once again.
