I am the first to admit I went ROTC more for money and my family than out of some love for my country, but I am glad to serve my country, and I am glad my family has also served my country. Unfortunately we now live in a country of idiots that love to send people to go free crazy religious people in countries like Iraq, but all those people that love to use our military to change the world never actually join the military.

As for you not buying any of it, that is probably because you are one of those patriotic americans that just never seemed to find the time to join the military. I deal with people like you at school every single day. The types that tell you how great it is that I am serving my country, but it isn't so great that they would do it themselves.

I never did serve my country. I had no choice. I had to go to work right out of high school to help my family and eventually got my degree, while working full time and paid for it 100% myself. We all do what we have to. but you're full of sh.it and we both know it.
