Let's face it, we all know what's going as soon as Sanchez hits any kind of bump in the road.

if sanchez is that big of a sissy he doesnt belong in the NFL. Having Tebow there should motivate Sanchez even more. my Green team made a huge move yesterday.. we picked up a pro bowl Middle linebacker for only a 4th round pick and a switch of 3rd round picks. Welcome to Philly DeMeco Ryans!! Finally we have an exceptionally talented guy in the middle of our defense. It's about two years since his injury also.. so he should be getting right back in his prime.

At this point, I really don't think a competition is what's best for Sanchez and the team. It's his 4th year and he's been sucessful in the playoffs. The extention is the mind-boggling part, they believed in him enough to give him the extention, but now bring in Tebow. I guess if they didn't give it to him, I could almost understand the trade a little better. But unless the Jets come out today and say they traded for Tebow to convert him into something else, this situation is going to get ugly fast.

They actually sined WR Chaz Shillens from Oakland who is a terrific tallent that has trouble staying healthy. Tebow will be 3rd string QB with a Kordell Stewart type role which may even include special teams. I would put him as the blocker for the punt team.

Ryans is a huge pick up, he is their first decent middle linebacker in a few years.

Could we see Tony Sparano and the return of the wildcat offense with Tebow? If not then I do not see the football fit for the Jets. I would imagine Sanchez is not very pleased.

I guess it's a salary dump from Houston's pov. That and he's been injured too often for them. If he's healthy and can stay that way, I agree it's a good trade for Philly.

I disagree completely concerning Sanchez. He's been coddled enough. Time to get tough with him.

The extension is because they believe in him. But bringing in Tebow addresses issues they had offensively. They struggled in short yardage situations and the wildcat will open stuff up.

I love the move. As long as roles are explained and everyone does what they are supposed to (a big if) it will work out well. If not, they didn't give up much.

They just said on NFL Radio, the true reason behind the extension was salary cap related. They did not elaborate, but I did hear that.

The Jets are a joke, and this just confirms it even more. Check out the thug CB's comments. I hope Tebow mans up to that chump and his 23 kids. Jets are trash. Really though, would it be a longshot if they finish last this year?? Im pretty sure Buffalo will be better then them. We shall see...

yeah i guess Houston needed money off the books.. they've gotten rid of a lot of real good players this offseason.

plus Ryans is a real, true MIKE in a 4-3 defense. he's not as well off as an inside LB in a 3-4.

supposedly he was getting back his speed and form by the end of last year. as long as he doesnt re-injure the heel, he should be awesome. the philly paper is calling him a trotter/ seth joyner mold.

thank you Housten. even in the worst case scenerio we only lose a 4th round pick.

It was a joke, I am willing to wager but since I do not know you I will keep it fun. $20 says Tebow starts over Sanchez.
