The 90's sure sucked for music but were great for horse racing.
Tim you missed that theme, we talked about it a few weeks ago.
I said Holy Bull would have left any of this years glory horses gasping for air.
He'd go 46 and change in a two turn route race and still kick away with another gear.

Mike- Paradise Creek's only really bad race was when Terry threw down 2 grand to win on him. I was there that day. It wasnt pretty. The veins in his head were popping and he was sweating like a marathoner. He then asked me to borrow a grand for the next race.

I think Terry and Seattleallstar are related somehow. Two biggest mushes I ever saw, they posessed magical qualitites. Either one of them could stop a train dead in its tracks with a wager.
Mott should have been quoted after that race as saying "Well he trained good and looked good coming into the race and he had a good trip but Terry The Jinx made a big wager on him and it was just too much to overcome. We'll regroup and just do our best and hope Terry doesn't bet him next time out."

Gander which do you think was a bigger feat? Terry stopping Paradise Creek's great run or Seattleallstar snapping Cambiocorsa's incredible win streak?

Cambiorsca for sure. Because she wasnt facing all that great competition that day and still lost, never threatening to be a winner. Paradise Creek was at least facing the best and ran respectable.

Zieg I love it, I like em when they are this hard.
Kiri comes up with some truly great stuff!!!!
Thanks Kiri, nothing like a trivia walk down memory lane to make us smile.
Seems like remembering great horses and races from yesteryear is more fun than remembering the recent 5 horse fields.
