That's a shame. I'm sure the people of Detroit were expecting some people in town next weekend for the event. They'll be upset the event was cancelled.

Oklahoma +305
150/457.50

Hoping for a Carmelo-like takeover.

He does have a knee injury but it appears to be OK.
Cannon is right on him. Clear #1 and a franchise type
guy to boot. No matter what happens today.

It will be very interesting to see where Thabeet goes,
and Rubio from Spain.
He's got the most rebounds in a single season since 1984 going into today. The thing with him is he's so efficient. Doesn't have to take 20 shots a game to get his points.

I read that his flexibility is very good.
He has some big muscles and it seems
to inhibit some guys but apparently not him.

He does appear to tire rather quickly for
all the workouts he partakes in. Maybe too much
strength stuff and not enough endurance. And his
defense is lazy, but this is very easy to fix.
His arms do not appear to be excessively long,
but his hands are very good and extremely strong
so this helps.

imo totally the Blake Griffin draft.

Maybe Cannon's cuz has a shot at him...

Shaq may be the strongest person in the US let alone the NBA.
Griffin is a lock to be the number 1 pick. Rubio may not declare this year.
This is a terrible draft class. Turrable as Charles Barkley says

Trojans were playing some good ball.

No surprise that the squad which took them out made it to the final weekend.

Would luv to see them and Nova play for the title...

I saw him in the Olympics.
I saw him school some of the best
in the NBA. The kid is very good.

OK.
So he does not play D.
Lightning moves and sees the floor.
He is still a teenager.

If he goes in the draft,
I would think he must be the first PG taken.

Personally, I also love the kid from Syracuse.
I will take him before Curry or Mills. The kid
coming over from Italy (skipping college) I dont
know anything about how he has been playing.
I think he is a PG.

I also take Lawson before Curry or Mills,
but not before the kid from Cuse.

I'm a big Jonny Flynn fan, but Ty Lawson will be a better NBA point guard than Flynn IMO. He's quicker, stronger and a better shooter.

Pgardn should be shot for making that statement. Lawson is special.

Rubio can play. He needs refinement but he has tons of experience for a 19 year old. If he can get where he can hit an open jumper on a consistent basis he will be very good. His ceiling is very high.

Flynn, Lawson, Mills are all so/so prospects. Curry is not really a PG.

I think Lawson is interesting because of his speed and quickness though his push it up style doesnt fit the NBA very well. He also has an awkward looking shot which will be harder to get off in the pros against much better defenders and few zone defenses. He will be a liability on defense and he also always seems to be injured. College is a 38 game schedule including the preseason tune ups. The NBA is 81 + 10 preseason games, and countless playoff games for the right teams. Can he stay healthy for that long?

Mills is also extremely fast though is not a great shooter and needs to improve. Flynn is a tough kid but isnt really good enough to be an NBA starter.
I dont know who to compare Curry to. There really has never been a player exactly like him and while he is an excellent spot up shooter he is not a good defensive player and really has no idea of how to run an NBA style offense. I think if he gets on the right team he can be effective in a Steve Kerr type role.

I think he's a carbon copy of Chris Jackson. Scariest player I've ever played against.

I think Lawson will have a decent pro career. Probably not destined to be an all-star or anything like that but can provide something in the 12-15 point, 6-8 assist per night range.

One guy I love that's not getting any mention is Lester Hudson. Reminds me a lot of Rodney Stuckey but he's better.

I think Flynn has a huge upside.
He played on a team with a bunch of shooters.
I love his body type, sinew and all muscle.

And he is a quick as any PG in the draft. He may not be as
fast, but in the NBA, starting stopping and changing
direction is huge. Lawson scares me for one reason.
He plays with the best talent. He got his looks.
He got the open lane. Flynn was much more of
a distributer with less talent on his team.

Rubio uber alles.
