Gales I watch far too many baseball games as it is. Anyone that "tracks" that kind of stuff without using the technology found at mlb.coms gamecast is wasting their time. And if there was a trend that favored the Red Sox you can bet your ass that they would have been outed already. It is so stupid that I would seriously advise you not to repeat this in public unless you are solely in the company of other delusional Yankee fans. Most Yankee gibberish is just from spoiled fans who are perhaps the least objective group of fans outside Lexington, KY. The umps are cheating against the Yankees and for the Red Sox? Perhaps the most idiotic yet.

Come on Gales, I detest the Red Sox more than any team on earth but this conspiracy theory is ridiculous.

Please don't tell me that you are going to do recaps of blown calls in MLB on a daily basis. I'm not sure if I can take it.

Yes, it was a terrible call. But it happens in baseball, football, hockey, basketball, soccer and even professional wrestling. You just have to deal with it and move on. Hell, didn't a bad call contribute to the Cardinals losing a World Series.
It's almost like Horse racing when you only bitch about the takedowns. In baseball you don't remember the wrong calls that go your way, just the bad ones that go against.

that's why we need to be able to look at reversing plays / calls - just like in football , i'm not talking balls and strikes , but with a quick look over to a replay booth the home plate ump could have eaisly reversed this call and got it right

i'll leave it alone now

Yeah cause baseball games aren't long enough now. They have the right idea with looking at the HR's, but to replay every bang-bang play would take forever.

It worked because they got into the Braves bullpen.

That was hardly one of the worst calls of the year. You're being completely bias Gales, which seems to run strong with Yankee fans.

The wrong call, yes. But doesnt crack the top 10 of worst calls from this year and I watch probably 1/4 of the amount of baseball as your "friend" who hasnt missed a single pitch in any Red Sox game this year, even though he loathes the Red Sox like I do the Yankees.

Funny thing is I watched this Yankee game last night and immediately thought of you and your Red Sox watching friend when this call was made.

I agree, the wrong call, but it was close.
