Pac-man really looks good in training. It would help boxing immensely if Pac won and then took on Pretty Boy Floyd coming out of retirement. Would break all PPV records imo. I will take Hatton in this fight. I will assume that the ref will allow holding and inside fighting. If Pacman gets to him early and often. I believe he can put Hatton down. Despite the fact he beat a horrible Oscar, I really think the guy is actually faster as he gets bigger. What really convinces me that Hatton can win is that he was very good against the fastest fighter, maybe ever imho... Floyd Mayweather. Hatton actually piled on him early, but Floyd was just way too crafty and fast, and the result was a late KO. Hatton has faced the best. Pac-man will now face a very good stronger fighter still in his prime. Its not the same thing as saying if two horses had run, they would have beat the field by over 7 lengths on an absurd track. And personally I am happy that I was wrong, as the winner in that fight put on an incredible display. You read the thread Coach, there is no distortion. I am happy for Pac man and it will be a great event if he fights Floyd. Personally I enjoy really good competition. Its not even close to the same thing. I think you see that. Now who was it that had a bad opinion that does not allow me to have a bad opinion? Last edited by pgardn : 05-03-2009 at 04:51 PM. |

![]() Look it is well documented you take the weasel way out to cover your bad opinion. It doesn't changed the fact that you picked Hatton and it was a horrible pick. You should just take a week off from giving others grief for their bad opinions and marinate on why you picked that chav to beat the best fighter in the game right now. Was it his theme song? The thong?

Before an even takes place, I do not know the outcome. I am not a sage. So I do put other possibilites down. Yes I was wrong. And I wrote down how I might be wrong and nailed it. So because I am wrong about the ultimate outcome I should stop posting. Kinda like you do. You go off and hide for a week after you are wrong. |

Did you see anyone predict Pacman in 2? Anyone that is sane? I saw what he did to Oscar. And Hatton is smaller and insists on coming straight forward. The ref warned him early for holding and he immediately got nailed first round. The ref warned Hatton for holding again. Hatton could not play his holding mugging game with the ref, or with Pacman who hit him with lasers. Seriously reread the whole post. Did you think 2nd round knockout? Now who was it that had opinion that prohibits me from having a bad opinion? |

![]() I don't usually post on racing threads out of pure and unadulterated fear at what would be the ripping to shreds of my lack of knowledge, but I didn't pick Mine That Bird either. I guess I should try to figure out how I was correct in whom I picked and was more correct than everyone else who was also wrong??
yeah, comedy gold here for 13 pages. Every last one of you is..... ![]()

![]() I can't keep up with the guy. He had two edits in that post alone. I know Hoss and I are sexy as can be but he needs to stop thinking about us making out and gather himself.

POTN ended up being my 3rd selection in the paper here - mostly because he's honest and figured to possibly be almost as good on dirt as his mediocre synthetic form - even though he ran 2nd in the Derby I see nothing about his race that was "damn good" Dunkirk and Freisan Fire - two horses I've spent a lot of time knocking the lst few weeks both ran too bad to be true - their races didn't prove anything. |

![]() The race was a toss. The conditions were like no other that theses inexperienced three year olds ever faced. Besides the distance the track was a mess. The only so called horse with known off track ability was FRIESAN FIRE and he got questionable training from Jones. The rest of the field ran their normal race or subpar performance based on the conditions. MINE THAT BIRD apparently was the lone exception. He moved up enough to improve on his numbers while the rest suffered. As for PIONEEROF THE NILE. The race didnt answer anything about his dirt ability besides that he tries regardless of conditions. Say what you want he still beat the rest of the field. I could have lived with him winning. The time would have been slow, the figures low but at least on past performances he would have been more deserving. He just wouldn't have been annointed as the second coming and just like MINE THAT BIRD wouldn't have scared anyone off for the Preakness.

![]() He basically ran to his moderate but successful synthetic form.
The question of how well he would run on dirt was answered ... and the answer was just about as good as he runs on synthetic. |
