![]() There's no way Tebow starts week 1 in NY unless sanchez is injured.
Even if Tim outplays Mark in the pre-season, I don't see any way Rex doesnt start his guy Sanchez week 1.

![]() The heat on Rex (who clearly looks like a gent that cannot handle the heat)will be too much if Sanchez looks anything like the 2011 version in preseason, Tebow will be better this year (knows what he is up against, full workout time) than he was last (with no off season) and will show it.

I kind of agree with your assesment.. but I still don't think there is any way Tebow starts game 1. 5 or 6 games into it.. if the jets have a poor record and Sanchez is playing like he did last year, then yes.. i can see it then.

![]() Look, I'm glad Tebow is coming to the Jets, but let's not get too crazy with Tebow here.
If anyone seriously wanted him, the Broncos would have been able to get more for him. No one, even the team he helped make the playoffs last year, buy him as a starting QB. He's not going to beat Sanchez out as starter ever. |

Now I'm not sure what happened last year. There were a lot of Jets fans who haven't been happy with Schotty/play calling for a while. They didn't run the ball well and they didn't protect Sanchez. Once again there were times he could have been pulled, although sometimes it wasn't his fault (the Eagles game comes to mind). But he was flat out awful at times, no arguement from me. Then the season ends and the whole world gangs up on Sanchez. Some guys came to his defense, but I guess the label has stuck. Is it accurate? I'm not sure. But my point is, that after a season which was shortened by the lockout, lots of complaining at Schotty, players fighting with each other and a severe issues with the offensive line, I think based on his success in his first two seasons, I would have given him a pass for last season and looked forward to a big year this year. Also making sure Sanchez and Holmes are on the same page. He was a major culprit that did nothing but ignite trouble (after getting his payday). They missed the playoffs by one game and it feels like they are sounding the panic alarms on the QB who played well in his first 2 seasons. If they really have questions about him, then they should have never signed him to the extention and make him sing for his supper this year.

![]() Two weeks into camp when Rex sees Sanchez at his locker crying about the Jets bringing in other guys to compete and Tebow consoling him, it will be over. At least thats my hope.

Every team aside from like 4 or 5 probably thought about it also. I don't view bringing in Tebow as a panic alarm at all. He's not being brought in to start IMO. |

![]() Guy is weak minded and never faced any competition. Now he is toe to toe with the hardest competitor in the league. He will have his hands full. $20?

Tebow was given away to the first bidders to avoid distraction/handle Elways ego. E. Unless you are a local, $20 is all I am willing to collect via mail.

Instead, they give him the extention (after flirting with Peyton Manning) and now trade for a QB who might not be a skilled as Sanchez, but has to be one of the biggest competitors in the league. Not to mention that he is loved by everyone. I just think the Jets put themseleves in a no-win situation, not to mention cloudying the relationship between Sanchez and the front office.
